When we go to a major event, the is in the trailer to go in our aisle way. While it’s not cheap, it’s cheaper than renting stall mats at every show. ( An aisle of rented mats can easily run $5,000 - $10,000 a show)

I do find that the horse’s sliders can damage these, so I only have one in the aisle at the shows so the horses have somewhere comfortable to stand while I groom on them. I do want to try one in a stall, but I have babies that would also see this as a giant chew mat, and would dig this up to chew on it, so that waits for another day.

This has been great to keep the horses comfortable while they stand for grooming, therapy and banding. While they are bulky from a storage perspective, if you get the storage bag, they are so light weight they are easy to move around, and you can transport them in your hay pod or on top of other items inside your track room or even in the bed of your truck.

So this isn’t a must have, but it’s definitely something that makes a difference in your horses comfortable while, and that difference can be what puts you in the money, and what has you at the bottom of the results.
