This is my must have for keeping my horses feeling their best at the Futurity. 2 long weeks on concrete will make anyone sore, and especially our horses who are working so hard and in the freezing cold. This goes under all of my blankets and I’ve noticed a real difference between the horses who have this on, and the ones who don’t. After a work out, when the horse has been hosed and dried and is ready for blankets we put this on with a slinky as the first layer, and then add sheets and blankets as needed based on the temperature in the barn. Our first one of these sheets is going on probably 10 years now and is still in great condition so while this is an investment, its one that will hold up over the years if you take god care of it.
